v4May 2025

Platform v4 is now live

The biggest Pixwel release to date. v4 ships six major capability areas — from enterprise SSO to mobile web — reflecting months of work alongside studios, distributors, and localization teams worldwide.

Trailer Ordering Workflows

End-to-end trailer ordering is now a first-class workflow in the platform. Studios and distributors can request, review, and approve trailers — including localized versions — through a structured, trackable process with configurable approval stages and automated status notifications.

Modernized Interface

The entire Pixwel UI has been rebuilt from the ground up. Expect faster navigation, a consistent design language across all modules, improved keyboard accessibility, and a responsive layout that works equally well on large monitors and laptops.

Performance Improvements

Asset lists, search results, and dashboard panels load significantly faster thanks to server-side pagination improvements and smarter data fetching. Heavy views that previously took several seconds now render in under a second on standard connections.

Mobile Web Support

Pixwel now works fully on mobile browsers — no native app required. Review assets, approve work requests, and track orders from any device. The mobile layout is optimized for touch navigation and adapts gracefully to portrait and landscape orientations.

Enhanced Admin Reporting

Administrators now have access to a new reporting suite with exportable data on asset activity, team throughput, order status breakdowns, and localization coverage. Scheduled report delivery and custom date-range filtering are included out of the box.

Enterprise Authentication

v4 introduces SAML 2.0 and OIDC-based SSO, enabling enterprises to connect Pixwel to their existing identity providers — including Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, and Google Workspace. Token-based API access is unchanged; new session management controls give admins fine-grained visibility.
